Capt McCall began his career in the Royal Air Force as a navigator in 1984 and served on Canberra bombers until he completed RAF pilot selection in 1989. Capt McCall then served with distiction on the Lockheed Tristar during the Gulf War and was mentioned in dispatches for his dedication to duty.
A successful civilian career has ensued since then, having served as a chief pilot and training captain for several airlines on wide body aircraft flying global operations.
