Recognizing that over 10 million visitors will be deeply moved by the reverent sense of history and sacrifice while touring the monument I would like your organization to identify not my name as your letter suggests, but the name of someone way more deserving of this stature. His name is Captain Steven W. Young of United Airlines.
Captain Young deserves to be a candidate for this inclusion not only because April 23rd is the date for his tenure with United Airlines but also to honor the many lives, packages, diligence and unselfish dedication that he safely delivers. This type of loyalty speaks volumes to the interest and personal love he has for aviation and is a commemoration that should attain honor.
Following in his father's footsteps and achieving his goal as Captain at a very young age, Steve Young should have been satisfied with enough of his display of accomplishment, however as a personal elective he always has to exemplify the phrase excellence beats out mediocrity. Clearly, in these days of travel complexity, most of his contribution examples have been unimaginable and some have been personal but all have displayed the integrity and diligence that we as the public would so much like to experience.
