Mr Bloomquist served his country in World War II in Italy as a C-47 pilot. He then spent the rest of his working days at Alaska Airlines. He retired in 1984 as a B727 Captain. He had about 36 years at the airline.
He was born in 1924 and died in 2002.
He and I (Everett E. Gene Riggs) were the very best of friends and hunting and fishing buddies practically all our working days and into our retirements.
