    Carlos Adrian Curti was born on April 10, 1970 in Lima, Peru, and moved to the United States in 1988 to pursue his dream of flight. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. After obtaining his Private Pilot license in 1994, he then acquired Aircraft Single Engine, Multiengine, Instrument, and Commercial Ratings as well as Rotorcraft Helicopter. He flew the Cessna 150/152/170/172/182, Piper Arrow/Warrior/Cherokee6/Lance, Cirrus SR-20/SR-22, and the Schweizer 300CB/300CBi. Became active in Angel Flight, and helped people in need by transporting patients inside Florida to critical care centers. In 2001 he became a citizen of the United States, the country that gave him all. His aviation life took on several other forms of flight, both powered and unpowered. As a 4-way competition skydiver with 4,000+ jumps, he was a medal holder in several categories. Memorable jumps include balloon jumps, the world's first record 232 man formation, and a leap from a Boeing 727. Years later become a master powered paragliding pilot, and then moved on to free flying He became a Hang Glider pilot, and a P-4 cross-country paragliding pilot. Today he spends most of his flying time chasing thermals worldwide. To celebrate his passion for all flight, in 2005 he became a sponsor of the Udvar Hazy.
