Gary Maaske entered Navy Pre-Flight on February 15, 1954. He received his wings 29 July 1955. His duty stations included HU-2 DET-1 (NAS Norfolk), Flight Instructor NAAS Whiting Field (Formations Inst.), Search and Rescue (NAS Pensacola), VX-6 DeepFreeze (Mt. named after me), USS Princeton LPH-5, NAS PT Mugu (Range A/C), NAF Selfridge (Mt. Clemens, Michigan), USS Inchon LPH-12, C.O. Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center (Tucson, AZ). Retired July, 1977.
