“Holly” was a Navy Pilot who served in the Pacific Theatre in WWII and Operations Crossroads (the Atomic Bomb Test). He was recalled to active duty for the Korean Conflict. At one time, he was the only maintenance officer in the Navy who had an Aviation Maintenance Degree (received at Parks College of Aeronautical Technology of ST. Louis University.)
