Served as a combat ARM2C WWII. Commissioned 1949. Catapult and Arresting Gear Officer on the USS Badoeng Strait (CVE-116) Korean War. Attended USN post graduate school followed by tours in VR-7, VR-8, VX-1 and VP-44 in various maintenance billets. Assigned to CNAL Staff and a tour in office CNO R&D Air Warfare. Maintenance officer and XO of NAF NAHA Okinawa. Retire as O-in-C of NAMTD Jacksonville, FL in 1976.
