I soloed a Piper J-3 Cub on 4/12/42 at Norton Field in Columbus, OH>
Enlisted in the Navy June 42 and served on active duty to Dec. 1945 Flying F4U corsairs off the USS Boxer, then in the Reserves from March 1946 to March 1959 flying F4U, F9K-6 Cougars and DC4s. I have 52 Carrier Landings in my log book.
After release from active duty I taught flying at the Delaware, OH Airport and was appointed Private Pilot Flight Examiner. I have over 10,000 PC hours.
