Charles E. "C.E." Williams' passion for aviation began in 1987 when he visited his father, LTC Robert E. Williams (USA-Ret) who was working in Washington DC on a TDY assignment. His parents took him to the National Air and Space Museum and this sparked a life long love for aviation. Charles worked in college for AirTran Airways and as an adult never lived more than three miles from an airport. Graduating from Embry-Riddle in 2002, he took a career with the federal government spending 15 years at Washington National Airport. Charles love of aviation established the LTC Robert E. And Charlene S. Williams Memorial Endowed Scholarship to honor his parents and their love and support for aviation that they sparked. Charles is now an adjunct professor for Embry-Riddle and loves to share his passion for aviation with his three boys, or anyone who will listen to his love.
