    Colonel Charles Maclvor was an F-86 Fighter Pilot, Aeronautical Engineer and Vietnam combat veteran. He flew the F-86 with the 336th Fighter Squadron at Misawa, Japan. In Vietnam he flew the A-1E with the First Air Commando Squadron at Pleiku and the 0-1 Bird Dog in Thailand and with the US 25 Infantry Division at Cu Chi, RVN. Much of his twenty-four year Air Force career was spent in Research and Development working on air-launched munitions and missiles including the Skybolt, laser guided bomb, and Maverick missile. He was the Program Director of the Air Force Air Launched Cruise Missile program during advanced development. His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star and Air Medal.
