    I spent 3 years (1943-1946) in the Army Air Corps. Commissioned as a communications officer of the Army Airways Communication System (AACS) from 1949-1959 I was employed as an electrical engineer by the McConnell Aircraft Corp. where I worked on the design of F2N, F3H, F-101, and F-4 military aircraft.

    1960-1974 I was project electronics engineer on project Mercury, Gemini, and Spacelab (airlock).

    1974-1987 I was a systems support engineer on the Space Shuttle program at National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center. Retired in June 1987.
