    Air and Space Leader

    Honored by:
    Mr. Scott Kurtzeborn

Chase was born on October 30, 2003 in Glendale, AZ, and passed away on March 12, 2020. Chase was a sophomore at Liberty High School in Peoria, AZ. Chase had a deep passion for aviation in general and especially jet engines. During a family visit to the Seattle area in July 2019 he had the opportunity to tour the Boeing Factory in Everett, WA. Inspired by his experiences there, he began researching jet engines and how they function. His friends fondly remember how excited he was to explain many of the technical details and science behind their construction and operation. Had his life not been cut short, he likely would have pursued a career in manufacturing for either aviation or space travel.

Chase is also an Eagle Scout and achieved that rank upon completion of a project that entailed restoring hiking trails on Calderwood Butte in 2018.

Chase is missed dearly by his parents Craig and Holly, his younger siblings Mallory and Clark, his extended family and his friends. We are all inspired by the passion he had for mechanics, science, and aviation.
