Born in MacAllister, Oklahoma in 1936, Ches began his flying career at Westheimer Field in Norman. After serving in the Air Force, Ches spent the majority of his career establishing himself as a pillar of corporate aviation for more than 40 years and 30,000 incident-free hours. As pilot and advocate, Ches believed in setting the quiet example for others to follow.
