    Born June 5th, 1961 in Durham, North Carolina. Chip’s uncle and father were both pilots. Chip’s uncle taught him how to fly in the Piper Cub in 1968. Over the years, Chip has flown and owned a number of planes. Planes owned include an Aeronca Champ, a Citabria, a Cessna 150 and a Cessna 172A. Other planes Chip has flown include a BT-17 Stearman, a Robinson R22 helicopter and a B-17 bomber! During his adventures, Chip has been privileged to meet many famous and not-so-famous people from the world of aviation. Highlights include shaking hands with both Chuck Yeager and Werner Von Braun.
