    August 14, 1967 - October 20, 2022

    Christine earned a bachelor's degree and completed her flight training at the University of North Dakota (UND) Center for Aerospace Sciences in 1989. During her flying career, Christine held multiple positions including Flight Instructor, Part 135 Pilot-in-Command and Director of Operations. She held an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Airplane Multiengine Land, Commercial Pilot, Airplane Single Engine Land and Sea, RotorcraftHelicopter and Instrument Helicopter rating. She also held Airplane Single and Multiengine, Instrument Airplane and Helicopter Flight Instructor ratings.

    Christine continued to pursue her passion for aviation safety throughout her 26-year career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). She spent the first part of her FAA career as an Aviation Safety Inspector and a Front Line Manager at the Minneapolis Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). Later she was promoted to manage the national Flight Standards Evaluation Program, a position she held for approximately ten years. Christine was then selected as the manager of the Minneapolis FSDO, and held that position until her passing in 2022.

    A consummate professional and a true leader, Christine cared deeply about the people she worked with and represented. She took her job as a public servant very seriously and held a sincere passion for aviation safety.
