Ever since Christopher was a little boy building model airplanes and rocket ships, he has always had an interest in science. As a child, he had the privilege of seeing a rocket launch in Fort Lauderdale. His ongoing interest in science has continued as he grew into adulthood and now he enjoys reading books about physics and numbers. Also, he likes to keep up to date and incorporate technology into every aspect of his life. He is always thinking of new ways and applications that technology can improve our lives. Though his career is not directly related to aviation and space discovery, it is science related and he has dreams of earning his pilot's license and possibly travelling into space. He has visited Washington D.C. several times and each visit he requests to stop at the Air and Space Museum, his favorite of the Smithsonian Museums. When he visits the museums, he stares at the spacecrafts in wonder and awe due to the remarkable fact that these seemingly fragile metal objects have traveled to space and back. The personalized license plate on his car was even purchased from the Air and Space Museum. Recently he visited the IMAX theatre of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy branch of the Air and Space Museum and wanted to return to look at the exhibits. He becomes incredibly excited whenever he has free time and wants to plan a visit to the museum, a trip that I have waited until his birthday to take. I know that a wonderful birthday present to give him would be the chance to financially support and become a part of his favorite museum.
