He is deceased. He was one of those fortunate people who earned his living doing what he loved to do – which was “keep them flying”. Two days after he died, one son said “He is probably fixing someone’s airplane by now.” His last assignment with the FAA was as Chief Aircraft Inspector, at the Experimental Center in Atlantic City, NJ.
