    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Stephen H. Pease

Born and raised in San Bernardino, California during the hardships of the Great Depression, Skip started with nothing more than family love and few possessions. He worked hard, making numerous sacrifices to become a successful executive with Prudential Insurance Company and a wonderful God fearing man, father and husband. A veteran of the Second World War, he flew in the European Theatre with the Mighty 8th Air Force, 389th Bomb Group. He completed 17 combat missions over Germany as an engineer and gunner in the Martin top turret of a B24J liberator. Leaving the Service as a decorated veteran, he earned his wings as a private pilot with multiple ratings and flew for 50 years on business and as a fierce aerobatics competitor in his Pitts S2A and Super Decathlon. On 17 November 2000, he flew his last flight. He was a pilot's pilot. We love you and miss you Dad.
