Glen Marlin Kelley was born on March 29, 1920 in Clarence, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps at the age of sixteen. He served his country during three wars: World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam.

He held the honor of being one of the original World War II flying sergeants. During World War II he flew C-47 aircraft and was responsible for airlifting the wounded to safety.

Chief Master Sergeant Kelley served as superintendent of the 3rd Field Maintenance Squadron in Yokota, Japan, and as superintendent of the 405th Fighter Squadron at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. Each unit won numerous awards for outstanding efficiency and service.

Chief Master Sergeant Kelley, USAF (Ret), served his country 28 years. In his spare time he was an aircraft enthusiast who rebuilt and restored small single-engine planes. He also ran an operation in Alabama where he trained Air Force pilots to fly the T-41 Cessna planes.

Chief Master Sergeant Kelley was a true patriot who served his country with great dedication and honor. He was a gifted pilot and skilled maintenance man, as well as a loving husband and father. He died October 18, 1969.
