    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Angela F. Bryant

We think “Jack’s” fascination with flying must have started when he joined the United States Air Force in 1951. His professional services ended in 1977, but his passion for aviation and space exploration never retired. His passion moved him to rouse sleeping children to watch history being made by the Apollo space mission and inspired him to have “hangar” model airplanes in his office at home. He shares his love of flying with us, especially when giving us new vantage on life (and landing) from the passenger seat of his Piper Archer II.
For many years, he was the Secretary and Treasurer of Chapter 343 of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Shreveport, Louisiana. He also authored and published the monthly newsletter for the club, keeping members informed and entertained. He recruits future, hopeful pilots into the EAA’s Young Eagle Program, passing on his flight experience. For all he has inspired, shared, and given to others in his love of flying, we will always be grateful.
