Col. Geiwitz flew 39 missions over Germany – was Wing Commander in 8th Air Force. Stationed at Eikenbury, England. Never lost a man. World War 2. Also served in Korea where he was awarded Distinguished Flying Cross. Was involved with testing H Bomb. When retired, he worked for Aerospace. After retired from Aerospace, he moved to Elk Creek CA and remarried, where he sided with wife Gladys until his death from cancer in 1997.
