As a Corporal during WW II, he flew troops up to General Patton and wounded troops to England. Colonel Geddes received the Air Force Commendation Medal as Reserve Assistance Coordinator, Utah Wing, 9004th Air Reserve Squadron, Civil Air Patrol. Colonel Geddes' outstanding leadership and devotion made the Utah Wing the most outstanding Wing in the Rocky Mountain Region. The distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Geddes reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
