    December 1943 transferred from Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) to US Army Air Force (USAAF), assigned to 12th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron.

    1946-1955: Flew 128 combat missions. Awarded Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal with 26 Oak Leaf Clusters, and Croix de Guerre.

    Flew as RF-80 pilot in the 371 Bomb (B-29) Squadron.

    July 1950-April 1951. Commanding Officer Korea, 25 missions, added an Oak Leaf Cluster to the Distinguished Flying Cross.

    Qualified B-47 & KC-97 in 1951.

    1956-1965. Bomb (B-47) Wing Director of Operations. Chief of B-70 Weapon System Program Office. National War College. Chief of Requirements Division, Headquarters Strategic Air Command.

    Retired 1965. Received Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster.

    Employed by Rockwell as Associate Program Manager for the B-1, Director B-1 Logistic Dept. Retired 1978.
