    A graduate of Drexel University, Air Force Institute of Technology, Air War College and Command and Staff College with 30 years of service to his country, starting as a Private in 1942, Aviation Cadet in 1943, flying over Saipan, Guam and the Marianas and retiring as Commander, DCASD, Rochester, NY, 1970-73, following a 15-month tour as Commander of 314th Organizational Maintenance Squadron, Taiwan, responsible for C-130 Aircraft in support of Southeast Asia operations. Recipient of Air Medal with Cluster, Bronze Star, Air Force Commendation with 2 Clusters, Asiatic-Pacific Medal with 4 Battle Stars, Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals, National Defense Medal and Air Force Reserve Medal.
