Enlisted in the USAF in March 1951. Completed pilot training as an Aviation Cadet in July 1954 at Willaims AFB, AZ. Served with ADC flying F-94C and F-89D interceptors. Was in first SAGE Sector, NYADS and 26 AD in Syracuse. Served in Bolivia between 1966 and 1968 flying Air Force Mission C-54. Was VNAF 51st Helicopter Wing Senior Advisor (UH-1H) at Da Nang, RVN in 1971 and 72. Return to Air Staff to be Security Assistance Officer in AFXOX from 1972 to 1976. Promoted to Colonel in 1974. Served as Comptroller, 438 MAW, McGuire AFB, NJ until retiring in May 1981. Received Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service and Air Medals.
