Airborne; Ranger; Master Rated Army Aviator, dual rated to fly both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft...(now a days it is either or);
served two tours in Vietnam; awarded the "Soliers Medal" for valor while serving in Vietnam; commanded an Infantry Battalion in
Berlin, Germany at the height of the Cold War; honorably served the United States for over 33 years; and, unselfishly volunteered
to serve two foreign aid tours in Afghanistan while in retirement.
