Graduated U.S. Military Academy, 1947. Assigned to Germany for Berlin Airlift. Served at all levels of USAF, In Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Joint Chiefs of Staff. Attended Armed Forces Staff College and Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Masters Degree in Business Administration from Harvard University. Decorations include Legion of Merit w/Oak Leaf Cluster, and AF Distinguished Service Medal. Retired in August, 1977 with more than 34 years service. Second career – Vice president, Beech Aircraft.
