Born 1906 Died 1995. March and Kelly fields fling school graduate in 1929. Instructor Curtiss Wright Flying Service, Louisville, KY, 1930-1932. Tennessee National Guard 1932-1940, 105th Obs. Sqdn. C.O., Sept. 1941, after Federalization. In WWII served in anti-submarine patrol on East Coast Newfoundland. Then became Ass’t Dir. Of Maintenance of Ninth Air Force, 1943-44.
Future assignments to Bolling and Mitchell Fields; HQ Caribbean Command in Canal Zone; Joint Logistics Plans Group of J.C.S., Pentagon: final six years of duty with SAC; 1953-59. Retired as Director of Material, 802nd Air Division, Schilling AFB Salina, Kansas , after 30 years service in USAF.
