    Joined the Army Air Corps in spring of 1939, at March Field. CA. Flew 65 combat missions in the Pacific Theater World War II.

    Instructor pilot at the jet fighter school. Williams AFB, AZ 1948 to 1950.

    Combat tour with the 8th Fighter-Bomber Wing in Korea 1950 to 1952.

    Various senior staff assignments from 1952 to i960. Was Assistant Director for Communications Engineering Office at USAF Space Systems Division in Inglewood, CA, working on the world-wide satellite tracking and control network, i960-1965.

    Worked Rockwell Corp Space Division at Downey, CA as Manager, Communications-Engineering Dept. Involved in the Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle programs.

    - Member of United States Space Foundation
    - Member of National Space Society
    - Listed in "Who's Who in the West" 1969-1970
