Flew bombers during WWII. Received Silver Star for sinking Japanese destroyer (later determined to be a cruiser) on second pass. Flew C-54s for Military Air Lift Command. Retired as Chief of Security and Law Enforcement, Tactical Air Command. 1941-1971 "Proud to wear the uniform each and every day."
