    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

I learned to fly when I was 50 years old, a lifetime dream come true. While working as a secretary, I flew as much as possible on weekends just for the joy of flying. At age 60, I decided to get my instrument rating. By then I wanted to give back some of my “good fortune.” I joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary in order to help others, while making good use of my Cherokee 140. I flew many patrols for the Coast Guard Air Operations in NJ, PA & DE. When I retired from my secretarial job, I moved to FL and became President of EAA Chapter 977 at Cannon Creek Airport. Now I’m busy flying “Young Eagles” and organizing flying trips for the chapter, At age70, flying people for the first time to show them the marvel of flight and, possibly interest them in learning to fly, is a new thrill to me everytime.
