Served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer from 10963 to 1988. Stationed at Chanute AFB, McClellan AFB, Scott AFB, Clark AB, Reese AFB, Yokota AB and Andrews AFB. Assigned at unit and numbered Air Force levels for Air Weather Service and Air Rescue and Recovery service air craft as well as PACAF Fighter Air craft and helicopters. Was 89th MAW Deputy Wing Commander for Maintenance from 1984 to 1988 and helped plan facilities for conversion of the Air Force One Boeing 707 to Boeing 747 aircraft. Flew on the last VC-6 from Andrews AFB to Air Force Museum.
