Entered Army Air Corps February, 1942. Served on active duty until World War II ended. Flew 26 missions as pilot of B17 (“Patty Jo”). Served balance of 30 years service in Air Force Reserve Troop Carrier and Air Rescue, in Portland Air Base, Portland, Oregon. Retired as Colonel.
