Active duty 1942-1972 with WWII assignments to the 313th Troop Carrier Wing, Ninth Air Force, as a C-47 Pilot, and combat duty in the Sicily and Normandy Campaigns. In numerous post-WWII stateside and overseas assignments, the following aircraft were flown: C-47, F-51, B-17, B-25, T-11, T-33, and T-39.
