    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Irvin L. Palitz

Col Marie L. Killwey, USA retired, served from 1950-1976 (27 years), principally as an aircraft systems analyst, achieving the rank of full colonel in 1974, two years prior to her retirement.
Her duties ranged from multi-year assignments with the FAA in Washington. DC, Pacific Air Force in Hawaii assisting with Space Project Mercury, to others in Tachikawa, Japan and Wiesbaden, Germany where she had a roll in HD Frequency Management.
Prior to her Air Force service, while employed as a stockbroker with Merrill-Lynch on Wall Street in NYC, during the 1940s, she was able to leave her duties, after afternoons, and board the Staten Island Ferry to the now defunct Donavan –Hughes airport, there she would maintain, load, fly and deliver components replacement parts to the many cities within the range of the Aeroncas, Cessnas and Pipers she flew at the time.
As neighbors and friends of hers, my wife and I feel privileged to have gotten to know her and to be able to submit her worthy and deserving name for display onto the Wall of honor.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
