    Two daughters: Linda, born May 5, 1958 and Carol, born November 29, 1969.
    We have six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

    Education: Graduated from Wattsburg, PA, High School in May, 1951
    Graduated from Colgate University in June, 1955 with BA Degree in Natural Sciences
    Graduated from Syracuse University in June 1965 with Masters Degree in Engineering Administration

    Military bio:

    Received commission as 2nd Lt. Through the ROTC program upon graduation from Colgate University in June, 1955.

    Graduated from pilot training in Class 57-J at Bryan AFB, Texas and received wings on March 28, 1957. Due to class standing, was able to select jet fighters for follow-on training.

    Completed weapons training in F-86F at Williams AFB, Arizona, June, 1957

    Promoted to 1st Lieutenant, June 1957.

    Flew F-86H with 336th Fighter Day Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB,
    North Carolina, August, 1957 to July. 1958.

    Temporarily assigned to Base Supply at Greenville AFB, Mississippi, September-December, 1958.

    Completed Basic Instructor School in the T-33 jet trainer at Craig AFB, Alabama, March 1959.

    Instructor Pilot in T-33 jet trainer at Greenville AFB, Mississippi, April 1959 to July 1960.

    Completed transition to T-37 jet trainer at Craig AFB, Alabama, August 1960.

    Promoted to Captain in April, 1961.

    Pilot Instructor/Check Pilot in T-33, T-37, and T-38 jet trainers at Williams AFB, Arizona, September 1960 to June 1965.

    Attended Syracuse University from July 1965 to June 1966 and received a Master of Science degree in Engineering Administration under the Air Force Institute of Technology program.

    Transitioned to the F-4C fighter/bomber aircraft at Davis Monthan AFB, Arizona, from August 1966 to December 1966.

    Promoted to Major in May, 1967

    Combat tour in Vietnam from January to September 1967. Assigned to the 390th Tactical Fighter Squadron at DaNang AB, South Vietnam. Completed 152 combat missions with 100 missions over North Vietnam in the F-4C fighter/bomber.

    Configuration Manager in the F-4 Program Office with duty station with Naval Systems Command in Washington DC from September 1967 to March 1972.

    Development Plans Section at Andrews AFB, MD, March to August. 1972.

    Chief, F-4 Office with the Military Assistance Advisory Group, attached to the American Embassy in Bonn, W. Germany from September 1972 to June, 1976.

    Promoted to Lt. Colonel in March 1973.

    Chief, Initialization Office of the Airborne Warning and Control System Directorate
    (AWACS) at Hanscom AFB, MA, August 1976-December 1976.

    Promoted to Colonel in February, 1977.

    Director of Engineering for the AWACS Program from January 1977 to June 1979.

    Retired from active duty, June 30, 1979 in the rank of Colonel with over 4000 hours of pilot time and 24 years of active duty.
