Served in USAF from January 1952 to March 1983 in ranks as an Aviation Cadet to Colonel. Served in combat crew positions for over 12 years in F-80A/B, F-84F, F-100D/F, B-47, C-130B, and other aircraft. Served in Vietnam War for parts of 1967,1968,1970,1971, and 1972. During that time, flew over 1,000 combat sorties in ten different types of aircraft. Was awarded the DFC, Bronze Star, Air Medal with 9 Oak Leaf Clusters, MSM and other decorations. Holds Master of Science in Systems Engineering, and worked in Research and Development for over 15 years.
Was chief of the military mission in Morocco.
Appeared in Who's Who in the USA in 1982-1983.
