Awarded Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal. Served in Vietnam after retirement as a rep civilian. Enlisted as Private, 1939 and held every rank to Colonel. Had been a flying instructor and flew for Chinese after WW II in occupation of Shanghai 1945-1946. Authority of Far East.
