    Colonel (Ret) Timothy J. Fennell graduated from North Carolina State University with an aerospace engineering degree and was commissioned in the US Air Force in 1987. He served in several leadership positions in Aircraft Test and Evaluation, Aircraft Depot, HQ Air Force Staff, the Joint Staff, and he commanded at the Squadron and Group levels, including as the deployed Group Commander in Central Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Col Fennell's final assignment was as Dean, School of Systems and Logistics at the Air Force Institute of Technology. In addition to his Aerospace Engineering degree, he also holds Masters Degrees in Logistics Management, Military Operational Art and Science, and National Resource Strategy. He has aircraft logistics experience on F-35, F-15, F-117, KC-10, KC-135, C-17, C-141, C-18, T-39, and T-37 aircraft.
