    Colonel V. Thomas Considine served as the commander of the 185th Fighter Wing, Iowa Air National Guard, Sioux City, Iowa. He started his military career in 1969 as a crew chief on F-100s. Three years later he was selected for pilot training. His career included flying the F-100, A-7, and F-16. He was a Command Pilot with over 3000 hours in these jets. He served and led exercises and deployments both in and outside the United States. He passed away on Aug 18, 2001.
