Col. Eckelkamp graduated the Air Force Academy in June, 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science. He received a Master of Science in Astronautics from Purdue University in May of 1964. As a fighter pilot, he received Top Gun F4E Class ’73. He then served in the Vietnam Campaign. Upon retirement, he completed his Certified Financial planning degree at the College of Financial planning, Denver, Colorado. Currently Chairman of the Board at Nevada Federal Credit Union, 2001.
