    Colonel Lostetter graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1989. During his 24 year career he was a T38 pilot instructor and the Aircraft Commander for a C130 aircraft in Iraq. In the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron he was the Aircraft Commander of a B1B bomber in Afghanistan. Colonel Lostetter retired in 2013 as the Vice Commander, 7th Bomb Wing, Dyess Air Force Base in Texas.
