Bill was born in San Jose, CA November 29. 1922. He
served in the USA Air Corps, overseas service was with the Atlantic Div, of the ATC being stationed in the Azores. England, and Prance, he worked for United Airlines for 32 years and was stationed in San Francisco, Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, D.C. and Denver Colorado, retiring from UAL in Denver May of 1978. When he retired, Bill was the Manager of Crew Scheduling and Dispatch. Bill received his B.A. from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. B111 has authored the book "The Inner Seven" the story of 7 fighter pilots who were "Aces” in World War II and also were Jet Aces in the Korean War.
