    COLONEL CHARLES S. FINCH

    ROTC Commission in 1965 at University of Georgia.

    Master Army Aviator. Fixed wing and rotary wing qualified.

    VIETNAM SERVICE

    1968-1969 Flew O-1 Birddogs for 220th Reconnaissance Company, the Catkillers, in Northern I Corps to include North Vietnam.
    My call sign was Catkiller 19.

    1969-1970 Flew U-21s for 62nd Aviation Company and Command Airplane Company.,

    Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, 2 Air Medals with "V" Device. 36 Air Medals.

    Left Army Active Duty in 1973. Stayed in the US Army Reserves flying rotary and fixed wing until 1992.

    Commanded 33rd Aviation Group at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Retired with 28 years service.

    Pilot for Delta Air Lines from 1973-2003. Lead Line Check Airman on Boeing 757/767.
