    Col Damion Hill is the Division Chief, Strategic Planning Integration, Strategic Planning Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Requirements, Headquarters United States Air Force, Washington DC. He is responsible for the development of key Air Force strategic plans across the AF and oversees analysis of resource allocation options and projects future AF investments.

    Col Hill entered the Air Force through Officer Training School after earning a degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University. He attended pilot training at Sheppard AFB and earned his wings in April, 1990. He served as an A/OA-10 pilot at Osan AB, Korea, Pope AFB, NC, and Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, with additional qualifications as a Forward Air Controller, Combat Search and Rescue Pilot, Evaluator/Instructor pilot, and the Chief of Flight Safety. He has accumulated more than 2500 hours in military aircraft including combat deployments in Southwest Asia and directing operations in North Africa and Libya during OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN. Col Hill has served in a variety of Headquarters positions to include the Headquarters USAF A-10, F-16, and B-52 Program Element Monitor, Department of the Navy Weapons Exchange Officer, and Current Operations Chief in US Africa Command. Col Hill is married to Michele and has two outstanding children; Alanna and Nolan.
