Air and Space Friend
Honored by:
Mr. Charles K. Lawler
Hiram Winstead Jr's interest in aviation began as a boy. He joined the Air Force in 1947 at 17 and his love of flight and space exploration has continued ever since.
He continues to keep up with current events on the subject of space and aviation. He is an avid reader with many books on the subject. Hiram has passed that interest on to his children and grandchildren through his enthusiasm and excitement about flight, whether in air or space.
Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
