    COULTON M. BECKER (March 20, 1888 - January 15,1947):

Trained at Lambert Field, St. Louis Missouri, where he met C. A. Lindbergh. Soloed 4-26-28. Private License #3600 dated 11-18-30. He flew Challenger Eagle Rock, Barling 3 and Lincoln kinner while at Lambert. He flew 8 hours after he had a license. He opened up the "Rainbow Field" of his Rolling Shoals Farm for barnstormers for several years. One newly wed couple, the Trunells, stopped there on their way to Central America; we later learned their plane had crashed in the jungle.
