Joe entered service for the US Army in February of 1984, after completing basic training at Ft. Dix N.J. he went through flight school at Fr. Rucker, Alabama and received his wings and his commission in April of 85. He spent 10 years in the Army and then went onto work for Columbia Helicopters in July of 1994. He is currently serving our country once again as a command pilot for Colombia Helicopters in Afghanistan, where he has been working since August of 2011.
