Served in the US Army from 1969 1989. Graduated from Warrant Officer School November 1970. Served in Vietnam with 1st Cavalry Div. 1971 1972. During 20 year career accumulated 6000 hours of helicopter time. Retired as a Standardization Instructor Pilot in the AH 64 Apache and AH1 Cobra. After retirement from the Army, has continued to instruct in the AH64 and UH60 flight simulators.
