Master Army aviator, ATP, MEL, Rotorcraft helicopter.
Scott is the son of a WWII fighter pilot. One of his earliest memories is of his father flying over the backyard in a P-51 mustang. Scott’s love of flying and all things aeronautical has led him to experience aviation from many different aspects. He piloted both military and civilian helicopters, commercial airplanes, was an enroute air traffic controller, and an aviation safety officer. He flew attack helicopters in the ARNG and retired with 28 years of service. His flying career spanned over 30 years and more than 10,000 hours. His enthusiasm and dedication to safety led him to make significant contributions both to those with whom he has flown and to aviation as a whole.
